Following path 10 and signs for Pian delle Noci, you reach the refuge. It's a challenging and bumpy climb. Once at the refuge, you descend towards the Gesiola spring and return to path 10 towards the Orino fortress.

Alpe Roccolo fantastically furnished with many details and surprises. The kitchen is excellent with great cheese varieties, delicious antipasti, bacon and also warm dishes. playground for kids and much more

Great location even if the Refugio can be reached by car. The service is very friendly. The polenta brasato is delicious. There's blueberry pie for dessert.

Coming with the ascent from Sant'Agata and past San Luca, there is the small village of Marcalone. Up to this point you have already reached the 850 meter mark. There is a restaurant within the small village that invites you to take a breather. There are also overnight accommodations and a gravel road up to the village. From here, the ascent of the last stage to the summit cross can alternatively be started.
