ミンチョ川は北イタリアの川で、ガルダ湖の唯一の流出口であり、ポー川の最後の左岸支流です。サルカ川の流入河川と湖自体と共に、全長203kmの独自の河川システムを形成しています。 この川はヴェネト州とロンバルディア州の境界を流れており、その岸辺ではイタリア独立戦争のいくつかの戦いやリソルジメントの他の出来事がありました。ロンバルディア＝ヴェネト王国（1815-1866）は、ミンチョ川によって隔てられた2つの地域で構成されていました。川の右側の地域は「ミラノ政府」、左側の地域は「ヴェネト政府」として知られていました。
