This massive drainage system, located in the San Matteo delle Chiaviche hamlet of the municipality of Viadana, provides drainage for a hydraulic basin of approximately 32,000 hectares. It pumps the tributary waters through the Navarolo, Ceriana and Fossola canals into the Oglio river, with a total flow rate of approximately 53,000 liters per second.
