アッダ川は、全長313キロメートルでイタリアで4番目に長い河川であり、ロンバルディア州内に完全に収まっています。ポー川の主要な左岸支流の一つであり、州の領土の約3分の1をカバーする非常に広大な流域を持っています。

Canale Muzzaはヨーロッパで最も古く、今年、Paullo市がPro Locoおよび他の自治体と協力してその800周年を祝いました。その起源は1220年に遡り、神聖ローマ帝国の皇帝に即位したシュヴァーベン大公フリードリヒ2世が、ロディの住民にその領土を流れる水の利用権を付与する勅令を発しました。 現在の経路は約60kmで、カッサーノ・ダッダでアッダ川の水を受け、海抜120mの高さから、ロディの領土を約40km横断し、カスティリオーネ・ダッダ近郊の海抜45mの高さで再びアッダ川に注ぎます。 季節によって約20秒あたり20万リットルの水の流量を持つ、調整された水量を持ち、当初の幅は50メートルですが、経路の終盤には数メートルに減少し、平均水深は2メートルです。
