Villar San Costanzo, where it is located, is a strategic starting point for exploring the surrounding area by bike, the Maira, Varaita and Grana valleys, and for riding the Eurovelo 8. Casa BART is also a stop on the Percorsi Occitani, a circular trek in the Maira Valley.

This Colle dell'Agnello is one of the most classic climbs in the Western Alps, and has often been the scene of stages of the Giro d'Italia. Very challenging both for its length and the difference in altitude, and for its altitude (it starts from 1,800 meters in Chianale and reaches almost 2,750 meters on the hill). The views, however, are stunning and worth the effort. The French side is less steep, so those who tackle it during trips lasting several days can plan the climb from France, which is less challenging, and enjoy the descent and the views.

In May 2016, on the occasion of the passage of the Giro d'Italia, a commemorative plaque was inaugurated on the Colletta di Rossana to pay homage to Marco Pantani, known as "Il Pirata". The initiative, promoted by the municipalities of Busca, Costigliole Saluzzo and Rossana with the support of the enthusiast Mario Berardo, led to the creation of a monument composed of a block of stone measuring three meters by one and a half, surmounted by a steel plate shaped on the stylised profile of Pantani with his iconic bandana. The work, created by the Verzuolo craftsman Massimo Mondino, has become a destination for tourists and enthusiasts, offering a point of reference for those who cross the Colletta, a road frequented both for competitions and for cycling training.
