San Giovanni Gemini is a municipality with sixteenth-century origins. Its Renaissance elements are very well preserved. San Giovanni Gemini is also known for its triumphal chariot dedicated to Jesus of Nazareth, which is used on the occasion of this festival, and which is the largest in Sicily.

Santo Stefano Quisquina is the main inhabited center of the Monte Cammarata natural park. In addition to being an exquisite provincial village, it is also convenient for visiting the main attractions of the area: the Andromeda theater and the sanctuary of Santa Rosalia.
