Primordial places

In itself the bridge over the Cavour canal is the classic reinforced concrete bridge without art or part. About twenty meters away however there is the bridge/dam of the Subsidiary Canal, both built by Senator Farini to increase the capacity of the Cavour canal fed by the waters of the Po (Chivasso) with the abundant waters of the Dora river (Saluggia)

Important intersection that leads to various destinations. Here in the photo, on the roadside during a stop for a snack, along via Asti towards Tonco. Behind the hamlet church.

Small church located in the bend of the SP13 right at the point where the Strada Turca begins which reaches Casapaletti.

A pleasant discovery. I was not aware of the existence of this small sanctuary complete with small chapels outside which would be the stations of the Via Crucis. Close to the SP2 not far from the junction for Colcavagno.

A splendid view of the Alessandria town from via San Pietro a few meters from the crossroads of the "round church".

I often happened to pass by Villadeati. I really like the climb and by strange coincidence it rained every time. During the October 22nd tour, for the first time, no! Beyond the anecdotes, in the area of the curve, you can see the entrance to the Vallone road which leads in a few kilometers towards Murisengo.

The road that connects Trittango to Zanco. Here is a view of the latter through trees and hills. All the beauty of Monferrato.
