Relatively easy to reach shelter in an impressive location opposite the Torre Trieste. The hut is run first class and the food is excellent.

The Vazzoler Refuge offers a fantastic view of the western part of Monte Civetta with its Venice and Trieste Towers. But then it also ranges over other wonderful rock faces such as that of Moiazza in the cantons of Pelsa and Busazzache. These peaks make it one of the most beautiful places in the Belluno Dolomites.

Mount Civetta, at 3,220 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in the Zoldo Dolomites. From here the panoramic view is endless: hundreds of peaks, valleys and forests intermingle creating a unique postcard. On clear days you can even see the tops of the Austrian Alps.

The normal route covers many unstable turns. The steep passages are equipped via Ferrata on better rock. Race to be undertaken with the necessary mountain baggage.
