Most of the artworks inside date back to the 19th century, thanks to the work of the parish priest Zuliani (1808-1846), who recovered numerous paintings and sacred objects from churches suppressed by Napoleon's army. It is the western gateway to the walled village of Feltre. It is also the entrance to the final climb in the Sportful Dolomiti Race. It is well worth a visit and a photo opportunity.

After leaving the beautiful Lake Mis behind, the gorge narrows and the road gains a little height, passing through successive galleries and tunnels dug directly into the rock. It's a wonderful place that rivals the Sottoguda Gorge on the climb to Marmolada.
