It is the western gateway to the walled village of Feltre. It is also the entrance to the final climb in the Sportful Dolomiti Race. It is well worth a visit and a photo opportunity.

The pass itself doesn't stand out for anything special. Its last 2 km on the northern slope are beautiful, as it passes through the village of Aune. This pass is worth visiting for two reasons: first, because legend has it that Mr. Campagnolo invented the gear shift on a bicycle to reach its summit; second, because of the tradition of ringing the bell at the church at the foot of the road before reaching the village of Aune.

The Piazza Maggiore is an almost stage-like square in the centre of the old town of Feltre.

One of the most important shrines of the First World War stands at the top of Monte Grappa and has been given a new profile with a grandiloquent architectural intervention, ordained in the Fascist era, under General Ugo Cei's Special Commissioner, to bring the funerals together of an enormous number of fallen soldiers from the Great War, who until then were located at various points of the massif. The Military Sanctuary, designed by the architect Giovanni Greppi, in collaboration with the sculptor Giannino Castiglioni, and built between 1932 and 1935, consists of a series of semicircular steps, which develop on the slope, from Strada Cadorna to the top, and take advantage of the natural slope of the land.
