small but wonderful, an absolute must-see!

At the entrance to Venaus, a beautiful fiberglass sculpture (unfortunately a little damaged) depicting a huge, very lifelike deer. Surrounding it is a lovely porphyry road and a structure that almost looks like a remnant of the city walls, but could also be a reconstruction. Overall, a very pleasant way to enter the town.

In the hamlet of San Giuseppe (which takes its name from the chapel), a rather simple chapel, with a door and windows almost like those found in a house, but a rosette shaped like an inverted heart (or ace of spades) in a clear Baroque style. A fairly typical Alpine construction, it's worth a look.

In the hamlet of Trinità (which takes its name from the chapel), a beautiful chapel with particular, clearly neoclassical forms, clearly visible from the main road.

A fiberglass sculpture reminiscent of the "good old days," when children had to learn the ropes from an early age. Very well made, it's worth a look.

Fantastic views of Susa and the valley beyond. It's quite easy to stop on the way up, but it's more difficult to stop on the way down, requiring a clearing of traffic. It's worth the stop, though.

Spectacular panoramic view of the road (with its bridge and hairpin bends), of the waterfalls above and below, and of the valley floor.
