Tacx ride Col del Nivolet This two-stage ride is one of the most scenic and challenging climbs in the Italian Alps. Stage one begins in a long valley that takes you into the wilderness of the mountains as you begin your ascent. The sun begins to set during this ride, offering breathtaking views.

This is where the hard area of the Colle del Nivolet begins. It is a mountain town in the Orc Valley, which has a very pretty fountain next to a bridge over the river. It's worth stopping to take a breather and regroup. Right at the exit of the town, the first horseshoes and ramps above 10%. The Nivolet show begins!!!

Going up towards Nivolet, you can stop at a highly panoramic point where you can photograph the lakes.

Magnificent place, even children can reach it on foot. It's not difficult at all to get there, of course you have to climb a little. Once you reach the top there is a wonderful waterfall which you can pass behind and admire the wonder of nature and the mountains. Easy easy route, some passages a little less but absolutely doable! Highly recommended for a day trip and family walk. Good fun.

Before Ceresole DO NOT enter the tunnel but take the well paved cycle path that starts just before on the left.... maximum gradients of 15%.... Still beautiful!!! p.s. passed tour of Italy in 2018.

Artificial lake along the climb to Nivolet

Noasca is a Piedmontese municipality in the Orco Valley, part of the Gran Paradiso National Park on the southern slopes of the mountain. It's the ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of opportunities for cycling, skiing or hiking.

a wonderful and car-free section, just be careful that a rock doesn't fall on your head;-) (see photo)
