The "St. Joseph's Church" found here is dedicated to Saint Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ. Like Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist, he is a man on the threshold of the Old and New Testaments. Joseph came from the House of David, one of the twelve tribes of Israel. He was a carpenter by trade and the fiancé of the Mother of God Mary. The feast day of Saint Joseph in the calendar of saints is March 19th, and the church also celebrates the feast of "Joseph the Worker" on May 1st.

There are various signposted mountain bike tours here. This single trail descent through the forest is part of this route network and is really fun.

Eibiswald offers mountain bikers varied routes through the hilly southwest of Styria, ideal for all levels of difficulty. From enjoyable tours through vineyards to challenging trails in the Koralpen.

With gradients of up to 18% (on the Styrian side) it's not exactly bike-friendly. But the name says it all.
