エルベ・ザイテン運河は、間近で体験したい場合に特に興味深いものです。良いヒントは、ヴィッティンゲンまたはユーエルツェン付近の区間を調べることです。そこでは、運河が印象的な橋で道路や谷を越えています。 そこを散歩したり自転車に乗ったりする際は、しばらくの間、船の交通に注意を払う価値があります。貨物船は、何トンもの貨物を運んでいるにもかかわらず、ほとんど「静かに」見えます。これは、エルベ川とミッテルラント運河を結ぶ連絡船として、この運河がいかに重要であるかをよく示しています。

Borg is a district of the municipality of Rosche in the Uelzen district of Lower Saxony. It is located north of the main town of Rosche on the K 16 district road. The municipality of Rosche consists of several districts, including Borg. The Borg disposal center is the second location of the Uelzen Waste Management Company (awb), alongside the depot in Oldenstadt. Here, 18 employees take care of the disposal, recycling, reloading, and storage of waste.
