Roseto degli Abruzzi is a town in the Italian region of Abruzzo in the province of Teramo. The municipality is wedged between the rivers Tordino and Vomano on the Adriatic Sea. The town has only had its current name since 1927, before that it was called Rosburgo, the nickname is Lido delle Rose. As a seaside resort, Roseto degli Abruzzi is of great importance to Abruzzo. The town has wide sandy beaches, a beautiful beach promenade and many shops, hotels and campsites. The municipality also includes Montepagano, which is located on a hill inland.
