Starting point of many paths

Climbing Monte San Giacomo, despite being only 530 m above sea level and a few km of climb, is never trivial from any of the three sides. One for the other they have slopes of up to 15% and decidedly narrow streets, in particular the one from Via Renda. Furthermore, the one from Tolceto has a decidedly bad surface. The descents are more difficult than the climbs: it is easy to find damp and treacherous curves and cars in narrow passages!

Borgonovo Ligure is a fraction of Mezzanego, nestled along the Sturla Valley. It is famous for the "craziest house in the world", a bizarre and colorful building that overlooks the provincial road 586.

Stretch of dirt road that connects the towns of Castagnola and Terisso. The bottom is very beaten and can also be pedaled with a gravel without generous wheels. In some places the vegetation opens up and you can enjoy the panorama.

Montemoggio is a fraction of the municipality of Borzonasca, and is a small rural village surrounded by woods and meadows, where chestnuts, fruit and vegetables are grown. Thanks to its position you can admire the panorama of the upper Sturla Valley.

Passo del Gatto is located on the ridge between the Graveglia and Vara valleys, at an altitude of 1,050 metres. From here you can enjoy a splendid view of the Apuan Alps and the Ligurian Sea, and it is a destination for many excursions both on foot and by mountain bike.
