The Church of San Siro di Struppa, located on Via di Creto in the Bisagno Valley, is one of the oldest religious buildings in Genoa. Consecrated in 1025 as a Benedictine abbey, it stands at an ancient medieval crossroads that connected the Bisagno Valley with the Trebbia and Scrivia Valleys. The Romanesque-style building retains a simple and harmonious structure with a single nave and semicircular apses, restored in the 20th century to restore its original appearance. The churchyard, surrounded by cypress trees, offers a serene atmosphere and panoramic views of the valley.

The Beauty of Torriglia is a legend that symbolizes the village in the Ligurian Apennines. It tells of a young woman of extraordinary beauty, desired by all but never married—hence the Genoese proverb, "A l'é a bella de Torriggia: tutti a vêuan e nisciûn s'a piggia."
