In the province of Brescia, Calino (Calì in the local dialect) is a hamlet of the municipality of Cazzago San Martino. It was an autonomous municipality until 1927 and boasts a splendid church dedicated to San Michele Arcangelo. From this point there is a splendid view of the nature surrounding the hamlet.

Built in 1280 by the will of Everardo Bornato, the castle of Bornato (or Villa Orlando for the name of the family that owns it since 1938) is surrounded by a circle of crenellated walls in rough stone and surrounded by a well-kept Italian garden. It is now open to the public for tours and wine tastings.
