A great tour along the Tuniberg High Trail, offering a variety of routes. A particularly enjoyable experience in spring and fall.

Like with the Feldberg, there probably isn't a particularly nice climb. Lots of traffic, no shade. If you're desperate to climb Schauinsland, you should take the route shown in this highlight. Further up, once you leave the main road, it gets quieter, but as has already been mentioned here: steeper.

The road will be closed for eight months starting August 11, 2025. From Göschweiler, you can still reach Wutachmühle, but the southern approach is closed.
