At the ferry port in Dagebüll you can take a ferry to Föhr, among other places, and it is nice to just linger there and watch the hustle and bustle.

The former marl pit is now a beautiful leisure pool. A day ticket costs €3.00 and is well worth it.

It is only a few kilometers from Dagebüll harbor and you reach a district of Dagebüll: Fahretoft. A lovely place with lots of little thatched-roof houses on mounds. Lots of nature awaits you and if you drive a little further you will reach the Bottschloter Lake. This little spot on earth is wonderfully recommended for hikes and bike tours. https://www.dagebuell-tourismus.de/vor-ort-umgebung/orte/fahretoft

The Dagebüller Church was inaugurated on September 16, 1731. There had previously been a chapel in the same location that had become dilapidated and too small. Until 1700, Dagebüll was an undefended Hallig in the Wadden Sea. It was not until 1727 that the village became land-based by embanking the Kleiseerkoog. At that time, the residents lived from peat salt extraction, fishing, agriculture, and later also from shipping. St. Dionysius, the beheaded martyr during the persecution of Christians and, according to legend, the first bishop of Paris, was chosen as the patron saint. The current bell tower was built in 1909. https://kirche-dagebuell.de/dageb%C3%BCll

Great surface, nice through the forest. It's narrow, but there was nothing going on in the whole area anyway. Therefore absolutely suitable for racing bikes.

There was only one chapel on the Hallig Dagebüll, which was not dyked until 1700. This was dedicated to Saint Dionysius of Paris. The church bell of 1584 dates from the time of the chapel. In 1727, the Kleiseerkoog was successfully dyked, making Dagebüll landlocked. In April 1731, the chapel, which was in a state of decay and no longer accommodating the size of the congregation, was demolished. The new church, the current building, was consecrated on September 16, 1731. Since then the church has been rebuilt several times: in 1860 and 1863 the thatched roof was replaced by a slate roof in two stages, in 1892 the west wall was renewed and in 1909 the wooden bell tower was replaced by a massive west tower. In 1866, parishioners donated an organ made by Apenrad organ builders Marcussen & Søn to the church. Source: Wikipedia

There is construction everywhere here. It's a pity, because later it will certainly be particularly nice here.
