The Sella mountain hut is located in the Gran Paradiso mountain range, in the middle of Italy's most famous national park. The Lauson area in which the mountain hut is located is, thanks to its location, continuously covered in snow from November to May and offers alpine downhill skiers one of the most impressive opportunities to climb and cross the Gran Paradiso mountain range. On the way to Colle di Bardoney, turn right towards Lago di Loie. With a bit of luck, you might see chamois and ibexes. The panoramic view is magnificent.
