Small and characteristic roadhouse along the SS 127 bis at the level crossing of the railway coming from Sassari. It takes its name from the Tomb of Molafà, an important archaeological site nearby (Second millennium BC). "It is a domus de janas with an architectural façade, carved into the rock, which recalls the central stele and the exedra of the giants' tombs, so much so that it is defined by some as a "giants' tomb carved into the rock"." On the SS127 Bis Northern Sardinia, turn left for Putifigari. Going straight on you continue towards Olmedo and Alghero.

This scenic drive is spectacular. From Alghero to Bosa the road winds along the western coast of Sardinia where there are breathtaking views of the sea from above.

Alghero is a port city in the north-west of Sardinia. It is worth a walk in the historic center where you can spot the imposing Torre della Sulis. The area around Alghero is also known as the Coral Riviera where the largest colony of valuable coral lives.

Capo Caccia, an impressive headland on the northwest coast of Sardinia, has more to offer than fascinating landscapes and breathtaking views. The origin of its name – caccia means “hunting” in Italian – hints at a deep-rooted tradition that makes the cape a special destination.

Just east of Fertilia, the remains of an ancient Roman bridge still stand at Stagno di Calich. The bridge was part of the road that led from the Roman settlement in Bosa to Turris Lybissonis (Porto Torres). It was used for centuries and was restored in the Middle Ages.
