Montefiascone is a charming town in the province of Viterbo, in the Lazio region, central Italy. It is located on a hill on the southeastern side of Lake Bolsena, about 100 km north of Rome. The city, which was originally an Etruscan settlement, has approximately 13,520 inhabitants. Montefiascone is known for its wine growing and tourism, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
