The Bolsena Lake Viewpoint in San Lorenzo Nuovo offers a breathtaking panorama of the lake and surrounding landscapes. Lake Bolsena, the fifth largest lake in Italy and the largest lake of volcanic origin in Europe, is a beautiful sight to behold. From the viewpoint, visitors can enjoy the almost circular lake surrounded by the Monti Volsini, a low mountain range.

San Lorenzo Nuovo is a village located on the north side of the Volsini Mountains just five kilometers from the shores of Lake Bolsena. The city was founded in 1779 by the inhabitants of San Lorenzo alle Grotte, who had to move because of the presence of malaria-carrying swamps that made the air unhealthy. The historic center of the village is of a neoclassical style dating back to 700. The town has a particular urban structure consisting of a series of houses that follow the octagonal shape of Piazza Europa, the town center where the Church of San Lorenzo stands.

Located in the enchanting Val d'Orcia in Tuscany, Radicofani is a historic and picturesque village steeped in history and culture. Situated on a hill with an average altitude of 814 metres, the village offers breathtaking views of the distinctive Tuscan landscape of the Val d'Orcia and the Via Francigena pilgrimage route. Radicofani Castle, Rocca di Radicofani, which has existed since 973AD, dominates the landscape and is an important historical landmark. The village is also home to beautiful churches such as the Romanesque San Pietro Church and the Church of Sant'Agata, which are rich in works of art.

Vitozza, a significant rock settlement in the municipality of Sorano, has medieval roots, presumably at the end of the 11th century, around the castle built by the Aldobrandeschi. This castle structure is located in a rock settlement which probably saw settlements already in the Etruscan-Roman era. Over the centuries, Vitozza has passed through various dominations, including Orvieto, the Basques, the Aldobrandeschi, Siena and the Orsini. Despite its historical importance, the settlement suffered a slow decline and progressive abandonment, with the population moving to San Quirico in the sixteenth century. However, the Vitozza caves remained inhabited until the eighteenth century, as documented by the 1783 census conducted by the Lorena family. The history of Vitozza is today told through descriptive panels at the entrances to the caves, highlighting the people and families who lived there centuries ago.
