Originally built as a hunting and pleasure palace, it is now the second-largest castle in Italy and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The complex includes the castle, the 60-hectare castle park, the historic village (Borgo) originally built for the servants, and the Parco della Mandria.

Chapel located at the entrance to the San Gillio cemetery. A classic structure with a portico, dating back to the 17th century, made of mixed stone and brick masonry. The surrounding panorama is beautiful.

A beautiful little chapel, unfortunately currently (August 2025) a bit run-down and fenced off. Next to it is the "Arma dei Carabinieri" pedestrian and cycle bridge, which allows you to cross the Dora River away from the main roads.

At the entrance, on the Collegno side, is the beautiful chapel of the Blessed Virgin of Grace, currently (August 2025) in a somewhat precarious condition and cordoned off. We hope for restoration. The access road on the Collegno side is cobbled.
