The Aurelio Ravetto Social Hut is located near the Colle della Croce di Ferro and under Mount Palon. It is open from mid-July to mid-September. It was a barracks for many years, it was built between the two world wars. In the sixties, then, it was bought by Mr. Aurelio Ravetto who later gave it as donations to 12 members.

An ice cream parlor on the mountains? Not really, but the homemade ice cream from Refugio Toesca worked for us ;-) - The ice cream from Refugio Toesca is really great: There was strazziatella, mint and creations like thyme and bread-butter jam. Everything was delicious :-) and very recommendable.
