A walk that has its own charm! I recommend going up to Ronco and going down to the lake shore: a fairytale place and not very well regarded in my opinion... But it's 100% worth it

Nice and informative walk! Better in winter than in summer (less people and no heat, which can be debilitating here...). In winter, watch out for the mud: clayey soil (from the vineyard), it sticks to your shoes and makes you slip easily!

Between the town of Vacciago and its cemetery, on a panoramic point overlooking Lake Orta, stands the church of Sant'Antonio Abate. Mentioned for the first time in a document from 1217, it contains a splendid fresco depicting the glory of Sant’Antonio Abate, painted in 1691 by the painter Giorgio Bonola.
