Gesiùn is the dialect name commonly used to describe a sacred building, of which only ruins now remain, located in the municipality of Piverone (TO), in the locality of Torrone. The ruins stand completely isolated at the crossroads of two country roads in the middle of vineyards and cultivated fields. Due to its architectural features, the Gesiùn (literally "big church", despite the modest size of the building) represents one of the most singular, and even anomalous, testimonies of Romanesque architecture in the Canavese area and certainly one of the most evocative points of the Canavese section of the Via Francigena.
