If the weather is bad in northern Switzerland, a bike trip to Domodossola is worthwhile. It's quick and easy to reach by train from Brig. Saturdays are always busy because of the market. Sundays are more pleasant for cyclists, and you have the cafés to yourself.

Oratory built by the Confraternity of Santa Marta in 1727-28 a short distance from the Parish and near the ancient cemetery, on a flat spot called "alla croce dei disciplinati" (in the Walser language zer gheisleru criz). The central body, with a circular plan with four windows and two doors, was surrounded by a portico of monolithic columns of pink granite and covered by a dome supported by corbels, a cornice, pilaster strips and capitals sculpted in bas-relief. The oratory had a sacristy. The sacred representations of Good Friday probably took place here during which one of the members of the Confraternity was "crucified". destroyed by the disastrous flood of 1868.
