Isola Pescatori, Lake Maggiore Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen's Island), also called Isola Superiore (Upper Island), is one of the Borromean Islands in Lake Maggiore. The Monto Rosso rises directly from the city of Verbania. The summit does not reach an impressive height, but it is ideal for a short, brisk mountain run.
