The Barragem de Santa Luzia is an arch dam built on the bed of the Unhais River between 1930 and 1942. The dam's name comes from the Hermitage of Santa Luzia, a chapel located nearby.

Here you ride on a wide dirt path that winds its way through the thick vegetation of the forest. The scents are wonderful and the shade gives you a bit of relief even on the hottest days.

The village is famous for its granite houses, cobbled streets and its imposing medieval castle, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Legend has it that Folgosinho was founded by Lusone, grandson of Noah, which adds a touch of mysticism to its already fascinating history.

The Jardim do Lago extends around the Lago da Sereia and is a well-kept green area with paths, benches and lush vegetation. Perfect for a break from cycling.
