Gottasecca is a beautiful village located on the ridge that divides the Bormida Valley from the Uzzone Valley. The area is surrounded by greenery, pleasant because it is secluded, shaded and quiet, it is also an important crossroads of paths, both coming from Gottasecca (some of Gottasecca's "mountain bricks" reach here), and heading towards Camerana. Others start from here and descend towards the Uzzone valley or, keeping parallel to the ridge, end up above Saliceto. the track that I followed is precisely a forest track, quite well maintained, which with some ups and downs leads to the vertical of Saliceto, to then continue, going up a stretch, up to above Cengio.
