The last stretch is on compact dirt: short but with a steep climb that makes itself felt. At the top, the Santuario del Mazzucco (919m) stands isolated among the beech trees, built in 1662 following a miraculous apparition of the Madonna to two shepherdesses. Today it is a peaceful corner, perfect for a panoramic and spiritual break.
