It overlooks a lovely little square; to the side is another small square with the Town Hall; behind it is a park, another building, and the War Memorial. From the church, turning west, you reach the beautiful Church of San Giuseppe with its adjoining Oratory, and a little further on, the Chapel of San Rocco. A short distance from San Martino is the former Church of Santa Elisabetta, now a public library. A drinking fountain with drinking water is located next to the church, on the side of the Town Hall Square. It's a nice place for a break.

Following the provincial road 33 from the Magnone shopping center, within a couple of km, you arrive at the imposing white basilica of Colle Don Bosco. A dear place because as a child I often went there with my parents and even more recently I frequented it during a period in which I was working in the Castelnuovo Don Bosco area. Always a pleasure to pass through here.
