The Basilica of San Giovanni Bosco stands on Colle Don Bosco, in the hamlet of Morialdo, a hamlet of Castelnuovo Don Bosco, in the province of Asti, and is part of the Archdiocese of Turin. Dedicated to Saint John Bosco, it was erected between 1961 and 1966 on the site adjacent to the Cascina Biglione-Damevino, the saint's birthplace.

The fountain is beautiful, but unfortunately the water is declared undrinkable. Too bad.

"Historical" public garden in the northern part of the city, consisting of a "figure eight" of tree-lined avenues, which provide nice shade in the hot season, a gymnastics area, a play area, and a nice central lawn. It is located between the municipal sports field and the area of the Salera hotel. The fountain at the northernmost point is convenient. Nice place for a break - or to take the kids for a bike ride without fear, they can spend the day on those avenues! (At least, I spent my days there as a child...)

The most classic route to climb to Viatosto: from Salera over the highway overpass, and up to the little church. I wore out my wheels as a kid, and I still find it beautiful, with its ridge road and its views of the surrounding hills.

In a beautiful countryside area, a beautiful abandoned mill, which almost seems to hide from the sight of passers-by. Notice it as you pass by, it's worth it.

Beautiful road in the green to go up to Viatosto. Shady and rideable, a classic trip.
