The Worpswede Municipal Council demonstrated both imagination and style in constructing the new town hall for the municipality of Worpswede. Is it the romance of a bygone era or a modern town hall? After the rooms of the old town hall became too cramped in the early 1980s, the vision of preserving a 200-year-old farmhouse in the heart of the town center was born. The successful renovation gave Worpswede another highlight among our sights. A modern, yet stylistically adapted extension expands the ensemble of history and modernity, including a remarkable farm garden. The particularly beautiful registry office and the farm hall attract couples from near and far to exchange vows. Small and fine events bring cultural life to this historic site. Don't miss the town hall during your visit to Worpswede. Always worth seeing: the farm garden, the historic farm hall, and, of course, the beautiful architecture.
