The Capo di Vado lighthouse (or Vado Ligure lighthouse) was built by the civil engineering department in 1883; it stands in Porto Vado along the so-called Riviera delle Palme, about 2 km from the centre of Vado Ligure, and consists of a white octagonal tower rising from a three-story white building.
