Built after the Reformation on the site of a chapel, it was renovated and expanded in 1628/29 by the master builder Kaspar Kretzmayer on behalf of Philipp von Nippenburg and Johann von Sternenfels. The attic was converted into a granary in 1685, and the Count's Chair inside bears the same date. The crucifix dates from the 17th century, and the oldest bell dates from 1700.
