Last refuge immediately after the Gordona rock, at the end of a challenging climb. From here you can descend towards Italy with a fairly challenging descent or turn to Valle di Muggio in Switzerland. Monte San Giorgio is a wonderful 1097 m peak located in the Mendrisiotto area. From the top you can perfectly observe the entire Ceresio area and the city of Lugano, a true marvel.

On Monte San Giorgio you will find yourself in a bivouac where you can stay sheltered, there are drinks and water inside the bivouac, which are not free! There is a box where you can leave money for what you take.
