Voted the fifth most beautiful beach in Sardinia and the first in the province of Oristano in 2016 by travelers, Su Pallosu is mainly dedicated to cats. Su Pallosu is one of the pearls that dot Capo Mannu, the extreme northern limit of the Sinis peninsula and the marine protected area in which it is protected. It is part of the territory of San Vero Milis, which is about twenty kilometers away, it is known because behind it there is a cat colony that hosts and takes care of cats and organizes guided tours. The cats, whose presence dates back to the early twentieth century, often venture onto the beach: they are the only ones of this species that are not afraid of bathing.

Beautiful in every season, but watch out for traffic: the best view of the promontory is from an area of the road without lay-bys.

Standing in a prominent position, the Torre de Pittinuri once served to monitor the coast. Such towers can be found all over the Sardinian coast, and they are particularly numerous in places that would allow easy landing. In contrast to the ruined house that stands not far from the tower, this one is in good condition. However, it can only be viewed from the outside.
