The path through the oak forest is not visible on Komoot. Only our hiking trail sign (panoramic trail with grape, swan and devil) shows us the way through the forest, otherwise you wouldn't have any orientation with Komoot.

The community of Schwanfeld commemorates its Jewish fellow citizens as a reminder and admonition.

Schwanfeld is considered the oldest village in Germany, even if there is no evidence of continuous settlement. What is certain is that around 7,500 years ago, Linear Pottery ceramicists settled down there, farmed the land and lived in houses. The finds from this era are on display in the Schwanfeld Ceramics Museum.
