spectacular view of Florence and its surroundings

On the road that leads from the crossroads at the top of Le Croci to Fiesole, in the Montereggi area, there is this 9th century parish church which is the oldest in the entire diocese of Fiesole.

Sella delle Colline at an altitude of 671, also known as the Dead German, is located on the road that leads from the Seppi source towards Monte Morello.

Not a difficult route, alternating dirt road sections (uphill and downhill) with asphalt sections. Truly suggestive landscape. Route to do when the time available is NOT more than about 1 hour and 30 minutes

Between the Giro and Starniano hills, the "Asino che vola" trail is one of the most fun and technical in the area above Sesto Fiorentino. Before tackling it, make sure you have a suitable bike. Shock absorbers, elbow and knee protection and brakes are of particular importance.

At this crossroads, going up from the road that leads from the state road to Paterno, on the right (hydrographic left of the Carzola stream) you go up to Ceppeto on a dirt road suitable for vehicles but with very steep slopes. On the left, you still go up to Ceppeto, but with a road that is no longer suitable for vehicles and with a more rough surface. However, it is pedalable and more interesting from a scenic point of view.
