A charming, but not very touristy, town on the Via Francigena, about two-thirds of the way up from Castelfiorentino. There's a park and places to eat in the center, and the main road is a bit off the beaten track.

April 2025: after the Arno flood the track is damaged in a section. However, you can pass. Pay attention to the sand deposits because it is easy to fall. It is recommended to get off your bike.

Once you reach Camaioni you have to continue on the road. In Lastra a Signa you can take the Arno cycle path again which you meet towards the river park and runs along the embankment.

When you arrive in Camaioni, to continue towards Florence do you have to take the former provincial road 67, or is there a route still along the Arno? Because I couldn't find it, thanks if you can answer me, happy riding

Fantastic cycle path of about 10 km that connects Turbone to Montespertoli surrounded by woods and vineyards. In autumn you pass through beautiful places colored yellow, red and orange. In the final part near Montespertoli, puddles and very muddy sections can be created during rainy periods. The road is all slightly uphill towards Montespertoli, with gradients of around 2%.
