Possibility to load the bike on the funicular to reach the sanctuary of Montevergine

Steep funicular that allows you to reach the sanctuary of Montevergine in about seven minutes. The ticket in 2023 costs €5. The funicular runs every 45 minutes from 8.30am until 6pm. More details can be found at the website air-spa.it/funicolare.

Campo Maggiore is a spectacular plateau where there is a small lake usually dry in the warmer months.... At the ends, two closed shelters. There are also picnic areas with braziers on the road that runs along the expanse.

This little refuge is surrounded by woods. Nearby there are picnic tables for those who want to spend a day in nature.

The Montevergine Abbey Sanctuary is an important place of worship. The history of this complex is linked to San Guglielmo da Vercelli, a hermit, who lived between the 11th and 12th centuries, who on his journey to Jerusalem stopped here to devote himself to meditation, thus giving up the pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Over the centuries the small original chapel was transformed into the current sanctuary, becoming the favorite destination of many devotees.
