Lake Caldonazzo is located in Valsugana in the province of Trento. With its 5.4 km² it is the largest lake belonging entirely to Trentino. Its mild temperatures ranging from 18° to 24°C allow bathing usually from May to the end of September. Along the shores there are free beaches and equipped bathing establishments.
