The entire area is characterized by a wide variety of karst phenomena: unique furrowed fields are everywhere, sometimes reaching 2-3 meters deep; within a radius of 200 meters are numerous underground cavities that descend to a hundred meters; the busa itself is a karst depression. La Busa del Molton (Montone in Italian) is a very interesting place from a landscape point of view, you can admire meadows dotted with particular rock formations that make them truly suggestive. Among shepherds it indicates the place where the sheep are gathered in spring to be sheared. The area is nothing more than a karst depression and the scattered rocks are probably of moraine origin. There are therefore numerous underground cavities with depths of up to a hundred metres. Here there is a small house (Baito) equipped with 6 mattresses, a stove and more, so you can spend the night sheltered from the weather.

Water was a bit smelly. We tried it but didn't fill our bottles with it. But good if you ran out of water and in emergency cases.
