Following the trail, I entered the Natural Monument of Lake Giulianello. Even though the water was murky due to the recent weather, the atmosphere remains magical. It's the third largest lake in the Castelli Romani, but unlike Nemi and Albano, an almost primordial peace reigns here.

Former passenger building located on the former "Velletri-Terracina" railway. If you look to your left (coming from Velletri) before reaching the roundabout, you can admire the old railway bridge.

The Cyclopean Walls are an ancient ring of walls made of large boulders fitted together without mortar, renowned for their imposing construction. Medieval legend attributes their construction to the Cyclopes, mythical beings of extraordinary strength, but in reality they are evidence of very ancient construction techniques typical of pre-Roman and Mycenaean populations. These walls are impressive for the perfect placement of the giant stones and surround the historic center of Cori, a symbol of its ancient and glorious past.

I walked these trails in September 2025, and they haven't been cleared in a long time; the brambles make it impossible to proceed, except by making your way with sticks and other tools.
