Rifugio Brentari, named after Ottone Brentari, has a history tied to the Società Alpinisti Tridentini (SAT) and its evolution over time. Construction began in the early twentieth century, and it was the first refuge in the Lagorai mountain range, Cima d'Asta, and suffered significant damage during both world wars.

From the Barricata refuge it is a 10 minute mountain bike ride on a gentle climb on a dirt road. Or you continue on the asphalt road and arrive at the foot of the mountain. Then walk for 5 minutes.

The Rifugio Cima d'Asta Ottone Brentari, at 2,473 m, is located in the Lagorai group. Open seasonally from June to September, it offers beds (also in the winter room) and is managed by the SAT. Typical cuisine and breathtaking views. For information: www.rifugio-cimadasta.it.
