A small refuge, but very well run! And just as we were taught, good things come in small packages! I had the pleasure of trying the cuisine, and among the best dishes were definitely the casoncelli! The staff was very kind and accommodated all our little requests. Highly recommended!

The Marco Balicco refuge is located within the Azzaredo Casù regional forest in the municipality of Mezzoldo. The refuge is an elegant larch wood building with a stone hut next to it, typical of the Bergamo mountains. The cuisine is truly excellent and the raw materials are selected from local producers.
