The Baita degli Alpini di Gargnano is located in Località Briano on the southwestern slope of Cima Còmer. "USE OF THE CABIN The structure has been managed by the Alpini Group of Gargnano since its establishment and inauguration (1985). After a partly very steep driveway on - asphalted - old military road you reach the beautifully situated Refugio. Perfect for a rest and refreshment. From here it is only a few meters in altitude to the summit of Monte Stino. It is also not far to the old positions on the rocky outcrop above Lake Idro with their wonderful views. This is where the legendary trail with 136 switchbacks starts.
